Family Update (January 2018)

January seems to have flew in for us and life seems to have been pretty busy lately. We have been repainting our kitchen and living room just to freshen it up and to give it a little bit of spring clean and of course this included a trip to ikea for some lovely storage solutions. I just love a trips to ikea and the kids love it because they go round exploring all the different rooms on display, oh and lets not forget a trip to the cafe for some Swedish meatballs.

This month we have been on some winter walks with the kids to see how many different types of birds we can find as my daughter had been doing the big bird watch in school so that was lots of fun and even our little man was pointing out birds to us.

Our daughter is very much into collecting pokemon cards at the minute and she’s even got my  husband and I into it and believe me its very addictive lol. My daughter and I had a lovely girly shopping day last weekend which is something I’d love to do more with her. It was nice spending some one to one time with her without the boys messing about or making fart jokes, lol. I took her for a lovely lunch in yo Sushi which was delicious and then we hit a few shops to check out the sales.

Mr J is getting so big and his talking is coming on so well and its so nice being able to have a we conversation with him. Sometimes he surprises me with the things he picks up and remembers. He likes tidying up after him at the minute and seems to love helping out around the house with clean and hoovering. (bet that won’t last long, lol)
