This month hasn’t exactly been the greatest for our family. My grandad passed away over the Easter Holidays, so it’s been a hard time for us all.
When things like this happen it can really make you take a step back and realise how short life can be and that we really need to appreciate the family and friends that we have.
Despite the death of my grandad we managed to take the kids on a few days out over the Easter holidays. On Easter Sunday we had a lovely family meal with my father and then on Easter Monday we went out for a lovely walk in sun and for some lunch out with my mum and her husband. The kids really enjoyed themselves and they behaved really well which is always a bonus. I think they found it hard processing everything that had happened, especially our eldest daughter as she has more of an understanding to what death means.
In other more cheery stuff this month in nursery Mr J had has super hero day and he loved every minute of it. He dressed up as batman and even got a little certificate for doing all the super hero sports challenges. It was well thought of and credit to the nursery they did a brilliant job with all the children.
