Pitta Pizza is one of my favourite things to make, it’s so easy to put together and my kids love it as this is one they can help mummy with in the kitchen.
Ingredients That I Used:
- Red and Yellow Peppers
- Mushrooms
- Ham
- Onion
- Salami
- Olives
- Mild Cheddar Cheese
- Herb and Garlic Red Sauce
- Pitta Bread
You can use any toppings of your choice and be as creative as you like and all the ingredients are easy to pick up at your local supermarket or you might have things laying around to be used up.
Method Of Cooking It:
To start with I chopped everything up and placed them in bowls so that everyone could help themselves to what they wanted on their pizzas.
Next I laid the pitta bread on to a board and covered it in the red sauce and a sprinkled cheese on it ready for the toppings.
So now the fun part, we picked our toppings and placed them on the bases, letting my daughter be creative making faces on them as you can see below. And if your anything like us we ended up nibbling half the toppings before they made it to the pizza.
Once your finished filling them with various topping just pop them in the oven at 180°C for about 10 minutes or until the bread starts to brown. The times can also vary depending on your toppings. Then after there ready, sit back and enjoy your creation.
